STEP ONE

REGISTER

It only takes a minute to provide your basic details, and once you've confirmed your email, you’ll be ready to move on to building your volunteer profile.

STEP TWO

PROFILE

This is where you’ll upload a clear, passport-style photo, and a picture of your passport or birth certificate.

You'll provide essential information like your emergency contact details and experience.

Once your profile is saved, you won't need to complete this step again.

STEP THREE

APPLY

Browse our lineup and select the festivals you want to join.

Applications for the Sidmouth Folk Festival open on 12th January, with all other events following on 14th February.

STEP FOUR

DEPOSIT

To secure your position, you might need to pay a refundable deposit via your Portal.


A standard deposit is £200, though a reduced rate of £75 is available for returning volunteers or specific events.


Some events don't need a deposit at all.


You only need to pay this once per season, regardless of how many festivals you come to, and it is returned at the end of the season (minus a £7.50 admin fee).
