Welcome to Wicked Events

Volunteering opportunities at UK festivals and events

Wicked Events

since the

year 2000.

Wicked Events has been supporting event organisers across the UK since 2000, providing reliable volunteer stewarding and hands-on event operations support for festivals and events of all sizes. With over 4,000 active volunteer stewards on our database, we deliver experienced, well-managed teams that organisers can rely on.

Founded by Sue Torres - an experienced festival organiser with first-hand knowledge of what it takes to deliver successful live events, Wicked Events understands the pressures, complexities and realities of event delivery.

We work as an extension of your team, focused on practical solutions and smooth on-site operations. In addition to volunteer recruitment and management, we have a growing team of event professionals from a wide range of operational backgrounds.

This allows us to provide a broader range of event services beyond stewarding alone, giving organisers flexible, scalable support where it’s needed most.

Our event services include:

  • Volunteer steward recruitment and on-site management
  • Campsite marking, layout support and campsite management
  • Wristband exchange and accreditation management
  • Live-in vehicle management
  • Information points and front-of-house operations
  • Accessibility Campsites including pre-show comms
  • General event operations support
  • Internal traffic management
  • ...and more

We pride ourselves on delivering calm, professional and approachable teams who integrate seamlessly into your event structure. From early build to live days and breakdown, we focus on clear communication, strong supervision and dependable delivery.

Whether you’re delivering a large-scale festival or a complex multi-site event, Wicked Events provides the people, experience and operational support to help you deliver safely, efficiently and with confidence.
